SNOW!

Ladies and gentlemen, we have snow!
And it's the good kind too!
The kind that's fun to play in and with.

It started last night. And you'd think that since we already knew classes were canceled today, we would've totally slept in. But no! The kids were SO excited and ready to play, they were up and at 'em by 7:30am. So, after having some breakfast and getting dressed, all paths led to the big cold white snowy outdoors.

Sam loved playing tag/catch/tackle with his unsuspecting sister.
This picture makes me laugh.  Look at those faces!

They both made snow angels:
Although I must admit, Sam's were a bit more on the abstract side.

Isabella worked very hard building her tiny snow girl:

And we threw snowballs:

  Lots and lots of snowballs.

Then Sam decided it was time to bury his head in the snow.
 Like, literally!
I just about peed my pants from laughing so hard.
This boy is some kind of crazy!

"I'm alright, Mama!", says the boy after coming out of the snow.
Yeah, I'm still laughing!

I can't tell you how much we love our snow days.
I can however tell you, no one loves them as much as this one:
If it were up to her, we'd be out there ALL day long.
Which would not necessarily work for me,
since my toes are still numb and all.
