Recapping a conversation that occurred this evening and went a little something like this:
Me (in the kitchen): "Isabella, dinner's ready."
Isabella (in the living room): "What?"
Yeah, I've already blogged about how much I'm loving the whole WHAT? thing here.
So I patiently repeat: "Dinner's ready, come eat."
To which she replies: "What, mama?"
A little less patient, I say: "D I N N E R * I S * R E A DY!!!"
Somewhat defeated, while walking into the kitchen she responds: "OK, OK, chill out mama!"
Incredulous, I ask: "What'd you just say?"
And quite matter of fact, she looks me in the eyes and answers: "I said just chill out mama."
Chill out? Chill out? Where does she get this stuff?
