Will the third time be the charm?

Many of you are well aware of the outcome of our previous visits to our local Sprinkler Park. If you're not up to speed on how those went, you can read more about those experiences here and here.

Anyway, at Isabella's insistence, we decided to give the sprinkler park another go. She told me she's a big girl now and she can handle the splashing. "No problem!", she assured me. So off we went, with their cousins and my mom in tow.

Sam was capital R E A D Y, as soon as we got there.

Watch out, Hasselhoff! There's a new "Baywatch" lifeguard in town!

The sprinklers started up quite suddenly and Isabella got wet, unexpectedly.
This is what she looked like right then:

Sam couldn't get enough of this here rainbow concoction.

The cousins LOVED the buckets!

This was Isabella's preferred sprinkler:

Sam looked like this the entire time:

Isabella looked like this most of the time:

And there was even some of this:

Boy, was I hoping that this was one situation where "third time's a charm" would apply. But unfortunately, that is SO not the case. I'm no genius, but I'm guessing that is one place we won't be returning to this summer. Or ever, based on our sprinkler park track record thus far. I might just have to hang my gloves on this one,...

Hilarious! So glad Sam loved it. Maybe peanut will like it next time, if you bribe her with her favorite candy. HA!

I'm really hoping she'll outgrow her objection to getting splashed someday. I guess we'll just have to keep trying ;)

I'm sorry Isabella didn't seem to enjoy it. I'll hold out hope for you that one day she will love it! :)

You are such a good photographer Liz. These pictures are so nice. All of yours are. I can't get over how well the color stands out and how clear everything is. You're quite talented. Me...not so much. :)
