Amy Grant @ Hope Pres

Hey fellow Memphians, if you're currently searching for a home church, Hope Presbyterian is hosting a special friends event this weekend. And in honor of all the new friends who will be visiting, they have a VERY special guest: Amy Grant! This is not a concert. Amy is an old friend of our own Bruce Carroll and will be in town from Nashville to help support Target House, a charity here in Memphis that Amy is heavily involved with.
The 6-time Grammy and 22-time Dove Award winner has graciously agreed to join Bruce Carroll and the Hope Band in leading worship at all 4 regular weekend worship services:

Saturday, August 28 ~ 5:30 PM
Sunday, August 29 ~ 8:00, 9:30, 11:15 AM

The least crowded services will most likely be the Saturday 5:30pm and Sunday 8:00am services.

To help make it an evening or afternoon with our friends, several local restaurants are offering special discounts to Hope attendees after all 4 services this weekend. There will be a special bulletin insert in this
weekend's bulletin with names of all the participating restaurants included. You must have this insert with you to qualify for the discount.

If you're interested in going, checking out Hope, and worshiping with the fabulous Amy Grant and the Hope Band, please let me know. We're going to the 5:30 pm service on Saturday afternoon and would love to have you join us. Hey, we can even enjoy a nice dinner out afterward!

Oh so cool. Her voice is so beautiful, I love the Christmas CD. Did you end up seeing her then?
