It appears Spring is finally around the corner. Hallelujah! I truly believe that in the six years we've lived here, this has been one of the hardest winters I remember. Not necessarily the coldest, but definitely the hardest. And don't even get me started on the amount of snow days we've had. Pft!
Anyway, we've had the most beautiful weather this weekend and in true Butler fashion, we made sure to take full advantage of every minute of it by playing outside. After running a couple of errands on Friday, the kids and I went to the park and had us a grand ol' time!
Lucky for us, being that it was school day, the park was not crowded at all. So we got to play and run and use our outside voices for as long as our little hearts desired.
Then Isabella discovered the balance beam and was relentless in her pursuit of walking on it from one end to the other. Until she finally figured it out, found her balance and was able to walk the entire thing,... multiple times. She was so proud.
And of course, since everything is monkey see - monkey do around here these days, Sam had to give the balance beam a go as well. His technique is well, a bit different, but we're proud of him nonetheless.
I cannot stress enough how thrilled I am for the warmer weather and for outdoor play, especially when they play together so nicely!
I hope you have a wonderful week!
