The premise of the class is how to look at your scrapbooking supplies in a whole new light. Some of the things covered were how to make flowers with scraps of paper and ribbon, how to look at heart and circle punches and see their true potential, how to make grass out of flowers, how to use paper to create monochromatic embellishments, how to doodle around buttons and brads to make something out of well, just buttons and brads (thanks, Chelsea!), how to make beautiful photo corners, a variety of ways to cover chipboard, etc.
Here are the layouts the ladies made in class:
BLOOM
I am SO loving the classic Martha Stewart butterfly punch and use it CONSTANTLY! The bumblebee and ladybug are actually completed in the finished layout.
This one is my absolute favorite layout of the three. The Brady Bunch layout, as Scott so lovingly calls it. I plan on adding a picture of Isabella, one of Sam and two of the two of them together. The journaling block will say:
1. One sister
2. One brother
3. Two friends
I'll make sure to share the finished layout once I include the pictures and the journaling.2. One brother
3. Two friends
The class was so well received that the ladies asked for a Scrapbooking Outside the Box ~ Part II. So off to the drawing board I go to do a little stressing and working and stressing just a little bit more to come up with different ideas and three more wonderful layouts. So stay tuned!
