Weekly Weigh-In

Alrighty guys, I'm back on the weight loss wagon. I went in for my weekly WW weigh-in today and although it's been two weeks since I've attended a meeting and I didn't even go to weigh in last week, I'm quite pleased to report that this week's news was good:

Pounds lost this week: 3.0 lbs
Total lost: 17.2 lbs

In reality it's more like 5 lbs lost this week, due to the 2 lbs I gained last week, but hey that's what I get for not showing up when I'm supposed to.

I'm super excited about this week's weight loss and quite motivated for this coming week as well. So please keep your fingers crossed for me,...

That's great! I started WW 4 weeks ago and this was my first meeting in two weeks. I find it hard to constantly count points, any suggestions?

Hi there, thank you! Congratulations on starting the program! I think that very first visit is definitely the hardest.

Well unfortunately counting points is probably the one thing I don't really struggle with. It helps me to write points value on everything before it goes into the fridge or pantry. And I'm somewhat anal about journaling everything I eat in their 3 month journal. What I usually do is write down what I'm going to eat before actually eating it. For some crazy reason that seems to really help.

There's something about seeing it in black and white that helps me stay focused.

Now exercise? That's a whole different bag of chips for me. I would most definitely appreciate any tips you can share with me there.

I'm going to have to start planning my meals for the day. That's a really good idea, thanks!
