I'm a Rock Star Mom today!

We've had the most beautiful day here today. It's been in the low eighties with a nice cool breeze, which in my book is also know as heavenly. Very early on, we had declared today "stay at home all day" day, so I sent the kids outside to play in the backyard this morning so I could get caught up on some housework. After a little while I decided to surprise them. So, I grabbed the sunscreen and their swimsuits and turned the sprinkler on.

And this is the reaction that I got:

HA! Isn't it fun when such a small thing brings them so much joy?

We played outside for quite a while:

And then came inside for lunch, where I had yet another surprise waiting for them,...

they got to make their very own Fruit Smoothies:

Yeah, that's right,... I'm a Rock Star Mom today! 

They loved making their smoothies and then ate their yummy lunch. Together. Peacefully. And even posed for one last photo, which is my photo of the day:

And now they're napping. And I'm blogging. When really I should be catching up on the housework I neglected earlier when I decided to go out and play. Oh well,... can't win 'em all!
